Your mind is like a garden. Consider a plant for a moment. We admire the green foliage and colorful flowers. Yet, what we don’t see is more important: The roots that go deep into the soil to make the beautiful plant possible. Our thoughts are like seeds. We have to be careful with what we allow to take root because we can grow flowers or we can grow weeds. And remember, for plants to grow tall, they must grow tough strong roots that can dig deep among the rocky soil–much like those who have truly experienced living, while growing and blossoming in the process.
