Calendars have nothing to do with your age. Calendars are handy when it comes to reminding you what date it is — but being too vested in the days, weeks, months and years of chronological age may prevent you from being open to untold opportunities.  A few years ago when I was co-writing the book TurboCharged, a rapid fat loss & health book, with my older brother Tom Griesel, we both purchased body fat scales. When I stepped on mine for the first time, I was 49 according to the good old calendar…yet the scale said I was 35 metabolically! How exciting! As we kept tweaking our diets and testing our TurboCharged Diet program, I was getting younger metabolically! At one point, at about 52 when I achieved my best shape ever, I was in complete awe as I stepped on that scale and it declared I was metabolically only 18!  Today, according to my body fat scale I’m somewhere metabolically in my early twenties. I’m feeling fantastic and inspired.

So I ask you…How old might you be mentally or physically, if you didn’t have a traditional calendar charting your years and declaring your age?
