Our hair tells tales that dye could never hide. ✨ Every strand of silver reflects laughter that lingered. Some worries that proved unnecessary. Tears that were wholeheartedly cried. Lessons we learned the hard way. Love that grew over time. These strands are signs of later years of life. We’ve been fortunate to live them — thought they might be accompanied by new moments of anger, frustration, and doubt. ✨ These aren’t just our hairs changing color; they’re testaments to the gift of a long life. ✨ There’s beauty in letting Nature display her artistry. Seasons are each defined by their distinct colors. These include the pastels of Spring; vibrant hues of Summer; burnished oranges, yellows, and browns of Fall; and, the whiteness of Winter. The silver, white, or platinum crowing our heads isn’t a sign of fading; it’s a sign of a new season of life whether we choose to showcase our stories or tone down our glories with dye. We each get to choose the tones and if we want to let the color tell its own stories for others to decide their reflective meaning.
