When we commit to a purpose, the mountains and valleys of life begin to reverberate energy toward our goals. If we choose to go for broke—not merely wishing but really implementing action in a step-by step way, thinking of everything we can possibly do to move ourselves toward what we want—totally awesome things seem to start happening miraculously. Little signs pop up: help is offered, doors open, opportunities suddenly present themselves, people reappear and we notice things we never saw before.
Each new dawn presents opportunities that come into our lives once we make a commitment to whatever it is we want to achieve. What we desire could be anything: better relationships with ourselves or others, different work opportunities or a new career, a healthier life, enriching friendships. These signs of synchronicity aren’t uncanny although they might feel that way. They are confirmation that you’ve set your mind to achieve a goal—and the life forces that connect with our hearts and minds are helping us fulfill our vision if we are open to accepting assistance.
Each morning, I awaken at least 30 minutes before anyone else in my home. I drink one to two big glasses of water at room temperature. Then I immediately sit in my favorite chair with my eyes closed for five to 10 minutes. This is my time of the day. I allow myself to think only about what I want in life. I use my best imagination. I see myself happier with my family and think about my part. I think about everything I want to achieve. How I want my life to evolve. I envision big things. What I think about is private. I don’t share it, except for those ideas that arise and make me want to start writing. In those quiet moments, all things are mine: peace, resolution, commitment, optimism and faith. My plan for the day has been set. It’s now up to me to do the work that’s necessary to make it real.
