Life-Changing Rules for Personal Growth

Some rules aren’t meant to be read once and forgotten — they’re meant to be returned to, slowly, until they start reshaping how you move through the world. Here are a few worth sitting with:

  • Never tell everyone everything. Maintain your privacy
  • Be mature enough to not take everything personally. Practice being less reactive.
  • Spend less time worrying about what other people think about you. They’re likely not thinking about you very much.
  • Health is wealth. No matter how much money you have, it loses a significant amount of importance when you don’t feel well.
  • Successful people aren’t lucky. They worked hard and delivered value. Ultimately others noticed.
  • Chase what you want. Soon others will pursue you.
  • Do what you think is right without asking for validation or attention. Permission isn’t necessary when we’re doing the right thing.
  • Self-discipline is the be-all and end-all of all success in every area of life.

None of these will change your life the moment you read them. But go back to one when you catch yourself over-explaining, over-worrying, or waiting for permission — and watch how much quieter, and stronger, you become.
